In 2026, armed conflicts around the world have grown larger in number, scale and escalation level than at any time since 1945. We connect people and organizations who want lasting peace and fair cooperation between countries and other communities, worldwide, to develop solutions. The approach by our network aims to build win-win-for-all solutions, anchored in human rights and sustainable development, and to do this the focus is partly on narratives and social construction. To act on this, we aim to bring together anyone who wants a more peaceful world with better human rights situations for everyone. Three of our projects include:

Narratives for Peace
Public narratives play an important role in to shaping opinions and changing decision-making for peace in many types of conflict. These narratives can be shared by people and organizations from many different backgrounds. We are facilitating the development of narratives that are clear, credible, effective, and grow common ground across various divisions, rooted in human rights.

Conflict Resolution - Framework for Best Practices

The network is currently developing a framework of best practices for conflict resolution, mediation and negotiation in conflicts between armed groups. The goal is to build forth and innovate on the often-used Principled Negotiation method (Harvard Negotiation Project) and other methods such as narrative mediation (social constructionism - a mix of psychology and political science) and cooperative game theory. All concepts are anchored in human rights, humanitarian principles and international law.

Cooperation Among Countries
The network is developing a step-by-step process model for fair trade linked to mutually beneficial sustainable development cooperation among countries, with cooperative game theory (positive-sum games) as a central element.
